Red River’s Cristo Creek ranch was recently established in 2008.
The ranch is a Christian based ranch spread over 854 acres of some of the most beautiful
hardwood uplands and bottomlands that Red River County has to offer.
There is approximately 4 miles of creeks throughout the ranch for the hikers and an approximate
8 acre lake with 4 acres of prime fishing habitat and 4 acres of flooded timber for those duck
hunters out there. The rolling topography is laid out to provide the outdoor photographer with
blooming Florida Dogwoods, giant sycamores, and magnificent mature oaks, ranging from overcup
to white oak. The birder in you can expect to see numerous hawks, vireos, warblers, bald eagles,
summer tanagers, painted buntings, ducks and geese as well as our native Eastern Wild Turkey.
The ranch was high fenced in 2008 and is solely managed for the Eastern wild turkey and White-tailed deer.
Cristo Creek Outfitters is a family run, family owned and God lead hunting ranch, specializing in
whitetail deer, Eastern wild turkey,
and exotic game.
